After the first of the new year there will be a number of winter steam charters held that will challenge the participants with the special lighting that winter snow and low sun can bring. Even with all our sophisticated new digital camera equipment available today, we all would be lucky if we were able to click off just one shot as good as this one taken 100 years ago in 1914.

Oregon Coastal Excursion – Rockaway Beach or Garibaldi

Our signature excursion along the scenic Tillamook Bay and the Oregon Coast offers a relaxed ride and a step back in time behind an authentic steam locomotive or vintage diesel locomotive! Departing from Garibaldi or Rockaway Beach, this excursion is 30 minutes each direction. A minimum 30 minute layover is included, but passengers may stay longer and take any available return trip!
