Join us for a scenic excursion along the Pacific Ocean and Nehalem Bay to witness the splendor of Spring colors first-hand! Aboard our train powered by a historic diesel locomotive, bear witness to the season’s breathtaking transformation – a sight to remember! Trains depart from Rockaway Beach for an approximately two hour round-trip ride to and from Wheeler. The train ride includes a 45 minute layover in Wheeler for passengers to shop and grab a bite to eat in the quaint little town before returning to Rockaway Beach.

If you choose to ride in our open or covered cars, please dress appropriately for the weather, as rain is frequent in Oregon and we cannot switch your seats.

DUE TO LIMITED SEATING, SWITCHING SEATS MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE.

All tickets are round-trip.

Oregon Coastal Excursion – Rockaway Beach or Garibaldi

Our signature excursion along the scenic Tillamook Bay and the Oregon Coast offers a relaxed ride and a step back in time behind an authentic steam locomotive or vintage diesel locomotive! Departing from Garibaldi or Rockaway Beach, this excursion is 30 minutes each direction. A minimum 30 minute layover is included, but passengers may stay longer and take any available return trip!
