Join us for a scenic excursion along the Tillamook Coast and behold fall’s vibrant array of colors first-hand. Aboard our train powered by a historic diesel locomotive, bear witness to the season’s breathtaking transformation – a sight to remember.
This excursion departs from Rockaway Beach for a train ride that is 45-minutes each way to and from the quaint town of Wheeler. Enjoy a 45-minute layover at Wheeler where you can shop, eat and enjoy views of the mighty Nehalem River and towering mountains.
Seating Options:
Open Car – OUTSIDE CAR has no roof, so bundle up!
Covered Car – OUTSIDE CAR has a roof but no windows, so bundle up!
Enclosed Car – Inside 1950’s car with tables and chairs, extra large windows for beautiful views!
Neahkahnie Car – 1910 dining car. Has tables and chairs, and is fully enclosed with windows and a roof.
If you choose to ride in our open or covered cars, please dress appropriately for the weather, as rain is frequent in Oregon.
DUE TO LIMITED SEATING, SWITCHING SEATS MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE.
