Join us for a once-a-year opportunity to ride a steam-powered train from Garibaldi to Rockaway Beach to enjoy the beautiful Tree Lighting Ceremony! You will enjoy stress-free journey to and from the event without the hassle of parking at this busy event. The train departs from Garibaldi at 5:30 PM, arrives in Rockaway Beach at 6:00 PM, then departs from Rockaway beach at 7:00 PM to return to Garibaldi by 7:30 PM.
Seating
Covered Car – OUTSIDE CAR has a roof but no windows, so bundle up!
Enclosed Cars – 1950’s Dining Cars with tables and chairs. These are fully enclosed with windows and a roof.
Historic Wilson River Car – 1924 passenger car with cushioned seats. Fully enclosed with windows and a roof.
Neahkahnie Car – 1911 dining car. Has tables and chairs, and is fully enclosed with windows and a roof.
All Tickets are Round Trip Tickets
Note: The train is wheelchair accessible at Garibaldi. Unfortunately, wheelchairs can not be taken off the train at Rockaway Beach. Passengers with wheelchairs will either need to be able to negotiate steps or stay on the train to watch the tree lighting ceremony.
