The Best Way to Get to the Fireworks Show!
Beat the traffic in Rockaway Beach for the fireworks show and take the train! Board the train in Garibaldi for a leisurely ride to Rockaway Beach to enjoy the annual fireworks show. You may watch the fireworks from the train or deboard for viewing pleasure.
PLEASE HEAD BACK TO THE TRAIN WHEN THE 5-MINUTE WHISTLE SOUNDS.
This is a very popular excursion, and we have sold out every year. We pull every car we have to allow as many people as possible to enjoy the ride.
Because of the high demand, all tickets have the same price. Children under 3 are welcome to share an adult seat aboard the train and ride for free. Thank you for your support.

Spring Splendor Excursion

Bear witness to spring along the Tillamook Coast! Powered by a vintage diesel locomotive, this round trip train ride is just over 2 hours, including a 45 minute layover in the quaint coastal town of Wheeler where you can shop and grab a bite to eat!

Oregon Coastal Excursion – Rockaway Beach or Garibaldi

Our signature excursion along the scenic Tillamook Bay and the Oregon Coast offers a relaxed ride and a step back in time behind an authentic steam locomotive or vintage diesel locomotive! Departing from Garibaldi or Rockaway Beach, this excursion is 30 minutes each direction. A minimum 30 minute layover is included, but passengers may stay longer and take any available return trip!
